Add Sign Off Requirement

Explanation

This activity is used to add sign off requirements to a work task. When executor sign off is used in combination with inspector sign off or independent sign off, it is necessary to have two different persons signing off the corresponding work task on the work order. If the combination of executor, inspector and independent sign off is used, it is necessary to have three different persons signing off the work task. If more than one sign off requirement line is defined for a sign off type (executor, inspector or independent), the person signing off must have all certificates required for the certain sign off type.

Note: It will not be possible to make any changes to or add new sign off requirements for work tasks belonging to work orders distributed from Fleet and Asset Management. These work tasks will have the predefined sign off requirements transferred from task cards and subtasks.

It is only possible to enter sign off requirements before the work task is set to status Released.

Procedure

  1. Open the Prepare Work Order, Report In Work Order or the Work Order Structure window or the Work Task window and query (F3) for the desired work order.
  2. Select the appropriate work task.
  3. Click on the Sign Off Requirements sub tab.
  4. Create a new record (F5).
  5. Specify the Sign Off Requirement Type.
  6. If necessary, enter the certificate information in Certificate Group ID or Certificate ID field. Use the List of Values to select a valid value.
  7. Save the record (F12).
