Select Equipment
Explanation
Use this activity to get an equipment object preselected in the Order
Service assistant.
Prerequisites
- Logged in user should be configured as a B2B User - Customer.
- There must be equipment objects with customer set as party type.
- For use from the My Service Center lobby, the equipment must be
connected to a location and have a valid service contract.
System Effects
As a result of this activity, an equipment object will be preselected when
the Service Order assistant is opened.
Procedure
Use the following procedure to get an equipment object preselected when
ordering a service from the Service Center or My Service Center lobby.
- Open the B2B >
Service Center or My Service Center lobby > Equipment Objects
link in the Equipment group.
- Select an equipment in the list and select Order Service
from the menu. From the card view, select the Order Service
button. You can also open up the equipment detail page and select Order Service
from there.
- The Order Service assistant will open up, with the value for equipment (and
location) set
from the previously selected equipment.
