Work Task Region

Explanation

This activity is used to define region for a work task. In cases where there is no Location ID associated with the work task address, a one-off work task location will be generated i.e. a so called Work Task Location. This work task location will not have any location regions set. The value defined for the Work Task Region in Scheduling/ Work Task Details tab is considered as the region of the Work Task Location. If the location transferred for a work task is a location coming from a location Id then the Region defined in Work Task/Scheduling/Work Task Details tab should not be used as the region of the work task.

Prerequisites

• Region ID must have been defined in Location/ Location Basic Data window.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, a work task region is associated with a work task.

Procedure

1. Open the Work Task window.
2. Query for an existing work task or create a new work task.
3. Go to the Scheduling tab and click the Work Task Details sub tab.
4. Create a new record (F5).
5. In the Region field, enter the region for the work task. Use the List of Values to select a valid value.
6. Save the information (F12).
