Remove Master/Duplicate definitions from multiple Work Orders
Explanation
This activity is used to remove all existing master and duplicate definitions from the work orders in the selected work order structure.
This is similar to the functionality described in the activity Remove
Master/Duplicate definitions from Work Order, the only difference being that this
function removes duplicates from multiple work orders at the same time.
Prerequisites
- Master and duplicate work tasks
must have been defined on the work orders.
- The work order and belonging work tasks cannot be
in either the Work Done or Finished status.
- Material usage, tool usage or
man-hour consumption should not be entered on the work task(s).
System Effects
As a result of this activity, all master and duplicate
definitions will be removed from the work orders. The Duplicate Type
field will be left blank for the work tasks. The work orders in the
graphical object structure will be updated to show all work task connected to
the work order.

Procedure
- Open the Work Order Structure
window.
- Populate (F2) or query (F3) for the necessary
work order structure.
- In the graphical object structure, select a work
order, right-click, and then click Remove WO Structure Master/Duplicate.
- All master and duplicate definitions for the duplicate work task on each work order will be removed.
