Unassigned Work
Usage
Use this tab to view unassigned work or to pick Work Tasks to work on. Filter conditions in the upper part of the form can be used to limit the Work Tasks displayed in the table below.
If the Maintenance Employee connected to the logged in user has a default
filter defined,
the filter conditions are automatically populated when the user opens this form. Work Task filters are defined in
Work Task Basic Data/ Work Task Filters and
the default filter is defined in Resource Details/Maintenance Employee/Work Task Filter.
It is also possible to select a different filter from list of values or enter filter conditions manually.
A Work Task is listed in this tab window if following conditions are met:
- The Work task has to be in status Released, Work Started
or WorkDone.
- The Work task has person demands but not all required persons have been allocated
.
- If a Work task has no person demands, it will be shown in the unassigned
list provided it has no person assignments (if atleast one person assignment
exists, the task will no longer be available to assign).
The following options are available to the user when picking tasks to work on from the
unassigned Work Tasks list.
- Assign to Me: Select this option if planning to start work at
a later date/time. The Assign Work dialog box will open so
that the user can specify the date/time that he is planning to start and end the
work. A Work Assignment will be created for the logged in user in this
instance with the information provided in the dialog box. The assignment
created can be a direct allocation or connected to a demand.
- Start Work: Select this option to start work immediately. This will create a
work assignment for the logged in user and set the work assignment and work
task status to Work Started. If Allow Clock In Automatically
flag is set for the Work Order site, the user will also be clocked in to the
assignment with current date/time.
Note: The above options will be available to create assignments until the task is reported.
