Use this window to initiate the process for transferring a template structure from IFS/Fleet and Asset Management to IFS Manufacturing. Template structure transfers are an essential part of the IFS Complex Assembly MRO solution. Select the Prepare Transfer to Manufacturing menu option to choose the transfer options you want applied, for instance, the transfer prefix which will be used to generate position parts for the structure.
When the Transfer Template Structure menu option is selected, the Transfer Template Structure window opens with transfer details for the selected top part. This is the top part of the template structure that is currently in the temporary transfer table. You can choose to transfer the entire structure to a manufacturing site or only transfer modifications to the site.
Note: Generated position part information can be viewed in the Part/Position Parts tab or the Serial Structure Template/Position Parts tab.
