Use this tab to associate repair codes with the parts affected by a modification. This association is required in IFS/Complex Assembly MRO to create the allocations and operations needed to perform the modification.
Repair codes can be assigned to affected parts at the sites to which you are allowed and to which the assigned part revision is already transferred. Once a site is retrieved to the tab, either manually or by selecting the Fetch Valid Sites menu option, you can enter the required combination of affected part, repair code, and execution type. Note: In the Site field all valid transfer sites may be shown, even sites to which you are not allowed. The Copy Repair Codes menu option can be used to copy repair codes from one site to another.
It is optional to assign repair codes in this tab. The functionality is similar to assigning repair codes in the Modification Repair Code window. The only difference is that here you are able to assign repair codes as part of setting up the modification, instead of after the modification is transferred to manufacturing. If data exists in this tab, it will be transferred when transferring the modification, i.e., at modification activation. Once the modification is activated, any updates to repair codes must be entered directly in the Modification Repair Code window. These updates will not be reflected in this tab. Therefore, the data you see in this tab may differ from the data in the Modification Repair Code window for the modification. The Modification Repair menu option can be used to navigate to the Modification Repair Code window for user-allowed sites.
