Usage

Use this window to enter necessary information (i.e., fault description) when you report a fault or failure that occurs during an operation. The purpose of this window is to provide you with a simplified entry to report necessary information about a fault. You can view the functional breakdown of the fault by using the graphical function structure navigator that is found to the lower left part of the window.

The Report Non Routine for WO window opens when a fault that was discovered during the inspection phase of a maintenance visit is being reported. Such faults, referred to as non routines, will be handled as part of the current work scope. In order to include this emerging work in the current work scope, the fault must be reported on the work order or work task on which it was discovered. Once reported, a maintenance event is created automatically for the fault and added to the work package (maintenance order) of the visit.

Navigate through the structure by double-clicking a function in the structure, or by right-clicking and then clicking Expand on the function you wish to expand. The selected function expands and the functions in the underlying levels are displayed. Use the right mouse button option Expand Descendents to expand all the functions of the selected node in the navigator. Use the right mouse button options Set as Root and Reset Root to work on the selected structure branch in the navigator.

Select an appropriate function in the navigator and press Enter to populate the Function Breakdown area with the belonging function structure values. Similarly, this can be accomplished when you select one of the following right mouse button options:

Option Description
Set Function Select this to set the value of the selected node into the Function Number field.
Set Sub Function Select this to set the value of the selected node into the Sub Function Number field. If a parent function exists the Function Number field will be populated with its value.
Set Bottom Function Select this to set the value of the selected node into the Bottom Function Number field. The Function Number and Sub Function Number fields are automatically populated.
