Use this window and its tabs to build and maintain template structures.
Template structures are used as references when building or maintaining VIM serial structures. The most common way to build template structures is to define all top-level parts and alternates before defining the sub-parts in the Consist Of tab.
With the functionality for Access Control in Fleet and Asset Management you can determine the user access to the parts and serials of a template structure. The right mouse button option Spread Access Rights to Parts and Serials can be used to extend access rights to the parts and underlying serials of a template. Note that this option is only available once the template structure is set to the Active status.
You can connect one or more documents to the selected template structure entry via Documents in the Attachments.
A graphical representation of the template structure can be viewed in the Template Structure Navigator window.
For the description of each tab in the window, follow the appropriate link: General, Consist Of, Multilevel, Where Used, Alternates, Dependencies, Removed Positions, Functions, Part Access, Journal, Position Parts (Requires IFS/Complex Assembly MRO).
