Usage

Use this tab window to register general data about the training event, such as duration, dates, fees, etc.

The following options are available via the Operations menu or the right mouse button:

• Show All - This function is used to display all Training Event registered in the system. If this function is not being used (this function will be marked if it is used), the system will only display a Planned - Published - Confirmed training event. A training event with a Completed or Canceled status will not be displayed.
• Get Course Information - Use this function to overwrite/update the Duration, Duration Unit, Start Date, End Date, and Maximum Participant in the General tab. The system will update the data based on the Offered Courses tab. Before using this function, verify that you have properly defined the Offered Courses tab options.
• Publish - Changes the status of the training event from Planned to Published. Use this menu option, for example, when you want to publish the training event on the Web.
• Confirm - Sets the status of the training event from Published to Confirmed. Use this menu option to confirm that the training event will be conducted.
• Complete - Sets the status of the training event from Confirmed to Completed. Use this menu option when the training event has finished.
• Cancel - Sets the status of the training event to Cancelled. Use this menu option when you want to cancel a training event.
• Get Course Equipment Requirements - Populates the Equipment tab with data retrieved from Course Specification. This function will be enabled in the Equipment tab.
• Get Default Agenda - Used to copy data from each course syllabus in the training event (from Course Specification/Course Syllabus). This function will be enabled in the Agenda tab.
• Get Default Evaluation Question - To get default data of the Evaluation on Training Event and Evaluation on Participant tabs with data retrieved from Course Specification.
• Evaluation on Training Event Form... - This function is used to create a blank Evaluation on Training Event.
• Evaluation on Participant Form... - This function is used to create a blank Evaluation on Participant form.  
• Reserved Training Room... - Brings up Trainer and Facility Reservation/Room.
• Reserved Training Equipment... - Brings up Trainer and Facility Reservation/Equipment.
• Reserved Trainer... - Brings up Trainer and Facility Reservation/Trainer.
