Enter Note for Line

Explanation

The major difference between notes and document texts is that notes are not printed on any documents. A note can be used, as a means of forwarding information to someone who will process the object later. Another area of use is to make personal notes and comments for internal reference only.

A note can consist of up to 2000 characters.

You can link a note to each line separately. When a note is linked to the line, the Note check box on the line is marked.

Prerequisites

The header and at least one line must have been entered and saved.

When a note is connected to a line the Note check box on the line is marked.

Procedure

  1. Mark the line on which you want to enter a note.
  2. Right click in the lower part of the window and select Notes... in the operations menu that appears.
  3. Enter your text and select OK.
