Cancel Incoming Receiving Advice
Explanation
Use this activity to cancel an entire incoming
receiving advice message, or to cancel incoming receiving advice lines.
Prerequisites
- To cancel the entire message, the Incoming
Receiving Advice header should be in status Received, Changed or Stopped.
You cannot cancel a receiving advice in status Matched, Partially matched or
Qty Difference.
- To cancel message lines, the line should be in
status Received, Changed, Stopped or Qty Difference. You cannot cancel a
line in status Matched.
System Effects
If you cancel the entire message, the header status is
set to Cancelled.
If you cancel a line, only the line will be set to
status Cancelled. But if all other lines have also been cancelled, the header
status is set to Cancelled. If all other lines have been matched, the header
status is set to Matched.

Procedure
To cancel the entire receiving advice message:
- Populate the
Incoming Receiving Advice
window. Query for the relevant message using criteria such as customer
number, site, receiving advice type and received date.
- Right click on the header and click Cancel.
To cancel an incoming receiving advice line:
- Populate the Incoming Receiving Advice
window. Query for the relevant message using criteria such as customer
number, site, receiving advice type and received date.
- Select the Lines tab, and then select one
or more receiving advice lines.
- Right click on the line and click Cancel.
