Partially Accept Service Quotation
Explanation
This activity is used to accept parts of the scope quoted in a service
quotation. The maintenance orders/events, work orders and service
contract that should be rejected can be
selected using this activity. If the customer category is Prospect and the
quotation is to be accepted partially, the customer category has to be changed
on the Customer from
prior to accepting the quotation.
Prerequisites
- The service quotation must be in the Released status.
- The category of the customer on the quotation must be of type
Customer.
System Effects
- The service quotation is set to the Accepted status.
- Maintenance events that are rejected will be canceled from the maintenance order.
- Rejected work orders/work tasks connected as a service will be disconnected from the service
quotation.
- Rejected check box will be checked for work orders/work tasks and
service contract created on the
service quotation if rejected.
- Rejected scope will be visible in the Service Quotation/Rejected
Scope tab.
- Work order Journal tab is updated.

Procedure
If the Service Quotation has multiple maintenance orders/events
- Open the Service Quotation window and query for the
service quotation.
- Right-click and click Partially Accept Service Quotation. The
Record Partial Quotation Acceptance assistant is opened.
- Optionally, enter a note in the Acceptance/Rejection Note field
and click Next.
- Select the Reject Mix. Event check box for the orders and events that
you want to reject, and click Next.
- Optionally, modify the value in the Rejection Reason ID field in
any of the above step.
- Optionally, click the Print Acknowledgement Letter check box.
- Click Finish.
If the Service Quotation has multiple work orders
- Open the Service Quotation window and query for the
service quotation.
- Right-click and click Partially Accept Service Quotation. The
Record Partial Quotation Acceptance assistant is opened.
- Optionally, enter a note in the Acceptance/Rejection Note field
and click Next.
- Select the Reject Order check box for the work orders that you
want to reject, and click Next.
- Optionally, modify the value in the Rejection Reason ID field in
any of the above 2 steps.
- Optionally, click the Print Acknowledgement Letter check box.
- Click Finish.
If the Service Quotation has a service contract
- Open the Service Quotation window and query for the
service quotation.
- Right-click and click Partially Accept Service Quotation. The
Record Partial Quotation Acceptance assistant is opened.
- Optionally, enter a note in the Acceptance/Rejection Note field
and click Next.
- Select the Reject Service Contract check box for the service
contract that you want to reject, and click Next.
- Optionally, modify the value in the Rejection Reason ID field in
any of the above steps.
- Optionally, click the Print Acknowledgement Letter check box.
- Click Finish.
