Enter Jobs and Templates

Explanation

Use this activity to enter work task templates for the work order to be quoted. By adding a work task template, work tasks are created based on the work lists connected in the work task template and resources, materials and other demands are connected to those work tasks.

Prerequisites

• The service quotation must be in the Under Preparation status.
• A work order should be created or connected with all the necessary information within the service quotation.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, a work task template will be included in the work order service quotation and work tasks will be created.

Procedure

1. Open the Service Quotation window and query for the required quotation (F3).
2. On Work Orders and Tasks tab, expand the tree navigator on the left pane and click on a work order. Work Order tab is populated with the information of the selected work order.
3. On Jobs & Templates tab create a new record and specify a description in the Description field. If a work task template has been connected to the job line, the work task template's work description will be displayed by default. The description can be modified if necessary.
4. Save the information (F12).
