Copy SLA Order Template

Explanation

Use this activity to create a new SLA order template by copying existing information. You can choose to copy SLA order template lines or SLA order template lines and schedule lines. In addition you need to define new SLA order template ID as well.

Prerequisites

A SLA order template should exist in the system.

System Effects

As a result of this activity a new SLA order template will be created with the duplicated information. The new SLA order template will receive the status Preliminary.

Procedure

1. Open the SLA Order Template window and query (F3) for the SLA order template that should be copied.
2. Right-click the window and then click Copy. The Copy SLA Order Template dialog box appears.
3. Select Template Lines check box if you wish to copy only the SLA order template lines and if all the information need to be copied, select the Schedule Lines check box which will automatically check the Template Lines check box as well.
4. Enter a new SLA order template ID in the New SLA Order Template ID field.
5. Click OK.
6. Optionally, choose to open the new SLA order template if necessary.
