Remove Quarantine for Serial

Explanation

This activity is used to remove the quarantine on a serial.

Prerequisites

• A serial must be quarantined.

System Effects

• The Quarantined check box is cleared automatically.
• When the quarantine is removed, a history record is generated for the serial in the Part Serial History window.

Procedure

1. Open the Serial Structure Information window and query (F3) for the necessary serial. 
2. Click the General tab.
3. Right-click on the tab, point to Status, and then click Remove Quarantine. The Quarantine Remark dialog box opens.
4. Enter a quarantine remark and click OK.
