Find Document by Attribute

Explanation

This activity is used to locate a document with one or more specific attributes when you know in which field a certain text is to be found. This is not a free text search which is used when you do not know in which field to search. By using this feature you can effectively locate documents that meet your requirements.

Prerequisites

In order to perform this activity:

• The document(s) must exist.
• If documents are protected with the Restricted Access check box, you need at least View Access to the documents to include them in the search.
• This activity is applicable in IFS Aurena.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, documents that fulfill the requirements are displayed.

Procedure

1. Open the page that contain the attributes that you want to search for and click the Search icon in the header or Filter icon in the page.
2. Enter the values for the attributes you need to search for and click Search.
3. All documents that fulfill the requirements of your search will be populated in the page.
