Define Sign Off Requirements for Product Model

Explanation

This activity is used to define sign off requirements per product model.

Prerequisites

To perform this activity, product models must be defined. To enter a user certificate, certificates must have been defined in IFS Human Resources.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, sign off requirements will be defined for the product model. Validations can now be performed when signing off the maintenance order connected to the product model.

Procedure

  1. Open the Maintenance Event Basic Data window and click the Sign Off Req. per Product Model tab.
  2. Populate (F2) or query (F3) for the necessary product model.
  3. Create a new record (F5) in the table of the window.
  4. In the Sign Off Requirement Type list, select the required sign off type. Valid values are Release to Service and Counter Release to Service.
  5. If a certificate is needed, enter this in the Certificate ID field. Use the List of Values to select a valid value.
  6. If a certificate level is needed, enter this in the Certificate Level Name field. Use the List of Values to select a valid value.
  7. In the Sign Off Description field, enter information of the work to be done before sign off is performed, if necessary.
  8. Save the information (F12).
