Update Unit Based Sales Price Lists

Explanation

Use this activity to update unit-based sales price lists. When prices are changed in general, either for special sales price lists or for a group of parts, then the unit-based sales price lists must be updated. The sales price lists can be updated with a percentage or amount offset.

Procedure

  1. Open the Update Unit Based Price Lists dialog box.
  2. In the Update Prices Adding area, specify the percentage and/or the amount offset that is used to update the unit-based sales price lists. If (-10) is entered in the Percentage Offset field, then the prices are reduced by 10 percent. If (10) is entered, then the prices are increased by 10 percent. If you want to reduce prices with an amount, then enter the amount in the Amount Offset field. If (-10) is entered, then the prices are reduced by 10. If (10) is entered, then the prices are increased.
  3. Enter a date in the Valid From field to indicate the starting date when the new prices will be valid.
  4. If prices for lines with both Valid From and Valid To dates should be affected then check box Include lines with both Valid From and Valid To dates should be checked.
  5. Determine whether the job will be run online or as a batch job by selecting either Online or Run in Background options respectively.
  6. Specify the prices to be updated. You can specify for which sales price lists, sales price groups, or owning companies the price lists will be updated. Enter the short code for the price list, sales price group and owning company or use the List of Values. Use '%' to update more than one sales price list, sales price group and owning company.
  7. Click OK to update the sales price lists.
