Undo Reserve and Picking of an Order Line
Explanation
Use this activity when you want to undo reserve and picking of
an order line in a customer order.
Prerequisites
- If the customer order contains only inventory sales
parts or a combination of non-inventory sales parts and inventory sales
parts, the customer order must be in the Picked state.
- If the customer order contains only non-inventory
sales parts, it must be in the Released state.
System Effects
- The reservations for the canceled customer order
line part will be removed if it is an inventory sales part. Note that for
parts that are placed in a shipment inventory location, reservations will
remain and must instead be manually handled via the Handle Orders in
Shipment Inventory window.
- If the unreserved line is the only line in it and it is an inventory sales
part, the customer order will
move to the Released state from the picked state.
- If the customer order contained only inventory sales parts, it will move
to the Released state, after the last order line is canceled.
- The customer order will move to the Released state, after canceling an
order line, if all
the lines left will be of non-inventory sales parts .
