Report Quantity Consumed
Explanation
A customer's consumption from the consignment stock must
be manually reported in the system. This is typically done after a consumption signal from
the customer, e.g., a phone call. The consumption must be reported before the customer can
be invoiced.
If the quantity on hand after the reported consumption
falls below the order point, a dialog box opens and gives you the option to create a
refill order.
Prerequisites
- Material must have been delivered to a consignment stock at the
customer.
- The customer must have reported the consumption to you.
System Effects
The sales accountings are created and the customer can be
invoiced.

Procedure
- Query for a consignment stock handled line.
- Choose to report on the detailed,
lower part of the window, if enough information is given by the customer, or
on the aggregated, top part of the window, if that is allowed.
- Enter the quantity that the customer has reported as
consumed in the Consumed Qty column.
- Save when completed.
- If the quantity on hand after the reported consumption
falls below the order point, a dialog box opens and gives you the option to create a
refill order.
