Enter Deal Per Rebate Group
Explanation
This activity can be used to enter a periodic
settlement agreement line, and optionally, connected final settlement lines
valid for all sales parts. A period settlement line specifies the rebate
either as a percentage or an amount depending on selection in Rebate
Criteria, for
a rebate type in the rebate agreement.
When defining periodic settlement agreement lines, it
is possible to specify the level of the hierarchy it applies to.
A periodic settlement line entered with a later valid
from date will override the periodic settlement lines entered for the same
rebate group (or assortment node), Rebate Type and hierarchy level after the
date specified.
Prerequisites
This activity has the following prerequisites:
- The rebate agreement header must have been
created.
- The rebate type should have been entered in the
Sales Basic Data/Rebate Type.
- The rebate group should have been entered in the
Basic Data for
Sales Basic Data/Rebate Group.
- For a valid hierarchy level to be indicated in the periodic settlement
line, the hierarchy should have first been specified in the Rebate
Agreement/General tab.
- The status of the header should be
Planned or
Active, but not
Closed.
System Effects
- Periodic and, optionally, final settlement lines are entered in to the
rebate agreement.

Procedure
- Open the
Rebate Agreement window and
query for the required rebate agreement.
- Click the Deal per
Rebate Group
tab.
- Select the top part of the tab and click
New.
- Enter or select from the List of Values a sale
part in the Rebate Group field.
- Enter the date on which the periodic settlement line becomes valid
in the Valid From field.
- Enter or select from the List of Values a rebate
type in the Rebate Type field.
- Depending on the selection in rebate criteria specify the rebate for the entered
rebate type as flat rebate in the Periodic Rebate % or in the
Periodic Rebate field.
- Depending on the selection in rebate criteria specify
the rebate cost for the entered
rebate type in the Rebate Cost % or in the Rebate Cost field.
- When working with customer hierarchies, enter or select from the List of Values the
hierarchy level that the
periodic settlement agreement line becomes valid for.
- Repeat steps 3 to 9 for all periodic settlement
agreement lines in the rebate agreement.
- Save when completed.
Optionally, to add final settlement lines follow below
steps
- Select the required periodic settlement line from the top part of
the tab.
- Select the bottom part of the tab and click
New.
- Enter the minimum sales volume in the Min Sales field and the rebate
to be applied up to that sales volume in the Final Rebate
field.
- Repeat step 3 for each final settlement agreement
line, by entering the minimum sales values and relevant rebate.
- Repeat step 1-4 for each periodical settlement
line that you want to add final settlement lines to.
- Save when completed.
Note: The final settlement entered per periodic settlement
line with the latest valid from date within the period of final settlement will
be valid when running the final settlement job.
