Enter Salesmen

Explanation

Use this activity to view, modify, or enter information about the salespeople in the company. This optional entry will allow you to gather and analyze sales statistics per salesperson.

Procedure

  1. Open the Sales Basic Data window.
  2. Click the Salesmen tab.
  3. Populate the tab to see existing data
  4. Select a line and select New to create a new record.
  5. Enter the ID of the salesperson in the Salesman column. Use the List of Values to select from the available records entered in the Person record.
  6. The name will automatically populate. The phone number will also populate if it has been entered in the Person/Address tab, with the communication method Phone selected, and the Method Default check box selected. You cannot manually enter the phone number in the Salesmen tab.
  7. Repeat steps 4-6, if desired, to add more salesperson records.
  8. Save the record.
