Copy Sales Price List

Explanation

Use this window to copy prices from one price list to either an existing price list or to a new price list. It is possible to copy one sales price list to another if the sales price lists belong to the same sales price group.

Procedure

To copy to an existing sales price list:

  1. Open the Copy Sales Price List dialog box.
  2. Enter the sales price list from which you are copying lines in the Price List No field, in the Copy From area. You can enter the short code or use the List of Values. When the price list number is entered, the owning company, sales price group, assortment ID and currency will appear automatically.
  3. Select the lines you are going to copy from the sales price list by entering a date in the Valid From field in the Copy From area. Only the lines that are valid at the entered date and ahead in time will be copied. If no date is entered, all lines will be copied.
  4. If lines with both valid-from and valid-to dates should qualify then the Include lines with both Valid From and Valid To dates check box should be selected.
  5. In the Copy To area, choose the Copy to an Existing Price List option.
  6. In the Price List No field in the Copy To area, enter the sales price list to which you are copying lines. You can enter the short code or use the List of Values. When the price list number is entered, the owning company, sales price group, assortment ID and currency will automatically be filled in.
  7. If required, enter the starting date that the new, copied sales price list lines will become valid in the Valid From field. If no date is entered, copied sales price list lines will have the same valid from date as the sales price list lines that you copy from.
  8. Currency conversion is done according to the currency rates on the company. If required, it is possible to override this by manually changing the Currency Rate field.
  9. Click OK to copy the selected sales price list lines.

To copy to a new sales price list:

  1. Open the Copy Sales Price List dialog box.
  2. Enter the sales price list from which you are copying lines in the Price List No field, in the Copy From area. You can enter the short code or use the List of Values. When the price list number is entered, the owning company, sales price group, assortment ID and currency will appear automatically.
  3. Select the lines you are going to copy from the sales price list by entering a date in the Valid From field in the Copy From area. Only the lines that are valid at the entered date and ahead in time will be copied. If no date is entered, all lines will be copied.
  4. If lines with both valid-from and valid-to dates should qualify then the Include lines with both Valid From and Valid To dates check box should be selected.
  5. In the Copy To area, choose the Create New Price List option.
  6. In the Price List No field in the Copy To area, enter the sales price list number of the new sales price list.
  7. In the Price List Description field in the Copy To area, enter a description for the new sales price list.
  8. You may change the default owning company if needed.
  9. If required, enter the starting date that the new, copied sales price list lines will become valid in the Valid From field. If no date is entered, copied sales price list lines will have the same valid from date as the sales price list lines that you copy from.
  10. Change the default assortment ID if required.
  11. Enter the currency of the new sales price list.
  12. Currency conversion is done according to the currency rates on the company. If required, it is possible to override this by manually changing the Currency Rate field.
  13. Click OK to copy the selected sales price list lines.
