Define Risk Project Types

Explanation

This activity is used to define the types of risk projects which may be analysed within the risk analysis. The purpose of risk project types is to restrict the analysis categories and to group similar risk analyzes so that information registered to such IDs are easy to find and copy to another risk analysis ID of the same risk project type.

System Effects

• Creates a risk project type record which will be made available in a List of Values for connection to risk analysis IDs to group similar IDs.
• Analysis categories are based on risk project types and only those risk project types that exist can be defined on a particular analysis category.

Procedure

Use the following procedure to create a Risk Project Type:

1. Open the Risk Basic Data window, and select the Risk Project Types tab.
2. Click New (F5) to create a new record. A default value for Risk Project Type ID field is assigned for the new record which can be edited if required.
3. In the Risk Project Type Description field, enter the description of the Risk Project Type.
4. Click Save.
