Close Risk Analysis

Explanation

This activity is used to close a risk analysis. A risk analysis is generally closed once the associated project or contract has been managed to completion or if the particular set of risks no longer pose any problems.

Prerequisites

• It is not possible to close a risk analysis while an approval is in progress. The approval must first be cancelled or completed.
• It is also not possible to close a risk analysis when it has the Status Analysis in Progress. The analysis must first be confirmed before closing it becomes an option.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the risk analysis will be closed and acquire the Status Closed. You will also be prevented from making any changes to the records on a closed risk analysis.

Procedure

1. Open the Risk Analysis Navigator or Risk Analysis Details window.
2. Query (F3) for the risk analysis that you want to close.
3. Right-click, click Status and click Close.
