Link Sync Activity

Explanation

This activity is used to link an activity to an event in the outlook calendar. Changes in the outlook event will be synchronized to the sync activity.

Prerequisites

• IFS Outlook Add-In (CRM- or SRM-panel) must have been installed.
• The current user must be the organizer of the selected calendar item.
• The current user must be the main representative for the business activity.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, a business activity is linked to the outlook event.

Procedure

1. Open Outlook.
2. Select/open one calendar item.
3. Go to IFS CRM/IFS SRM tab and click on the icon to open the CRM- or SRM-panel.
4. In the Attendees list, click on the organizer of the appointment. Select the Lead, Customer or Supplier of the activity or select the Show all data check box to view all records.
5. In the Business Activities list, click on the activity to link. Click Link to Appointment.
