Change Recruitment Identity

Explanation

Use this function to set which Identity Number should be used next when you create a new Applicant ID, External Applicant ID, Personnel Requisition ID or Job Opportunity ID.

Select the check box Type Automatic to set the value automatically (selected value) or manually (cleared value).

Note: Changing to manual/automatic might cause error when saving the record (no unique ID).

Prerequisites

In order to perform this activity, one of four ID types (Applicant ID, External Applicant ID etc.) has to be registered in the system.

System Effects

As the result of this activity, a specific ID number will be automatically suggested during a relevant recruitment process (e.g., applicant registration).

Procedure

  1. Open the Recruitment Identities window.
  2. Locate the Column Name that you want to modify. Columns are activated only after a relevant recruitment process had its first ID registered.
  3. In the Next Value check box, enter a value that should be suggested during the relevant recruitment process.
  4. Select the Type Automatic check box to turn the setting on.
    Note: If the check box is cleared, the setting will not work and any value can be entered as the ID in the relevant recruitment process.
  5. Save changes.
