Connect Default Locations to Inventory Part
Explanation
You can connect default locations to the inventory part. This
facilitates the receipt handling.
The following location types can be connected as default
locations on the inventory part: arrival, quality assurance and picking.
Prerequisites
- The location that will be connected to the inventory part must
have been entered in
Inventory Locations.
System Effects
When you perform an action, such as an arrival registration or a
movement, the system suggests an adequate location dependent on the performed step in the
receive case flow.

Procedure
- Either populate or query for the inventory part in question.
- Select the
Default Locations tab, and
then select New.
- Indicate the location number of the desired location in the
Location No column, either by entering the location number or by using the List of Values.
- Save when completed.
