Use this tab to manually attach inventory part in arrival or QA locations a handling unit. This tab shows all stock records that are not attached to any handling unit (handling unit ID = 0). If there already some content of the receipt is packed in the handling unit or its structure, the Arrival or QA location is given for the handling unit. It means that this tab filters unpacked inventory part in receipt records on that location as it is not possible to have content from different locations in the same handling unit.
It is possible to attach one or several lines to one handling unit at the same time by selecting several records.
A more automatic option to pack is to use the handling unit capacity to generate sub handling units to the handling unit selected in the handling unit structure. When performing automatic packing there will only be one part number attached to the handling units on the lowest level while there might be a mix of reservation information like serial numbers or lot batch numbers.
The result of the packing can be seen in the Handling Units tab of this window and it is possible to modify the content of a handling unit or to move the handling unit within the handling unit structure.
