[About Control Plan]

[To Control Plan]

Usage

Use this tab to make control plans mandatory by part number per site, for manufactured parts. Also use this tab to make the analysis take scrapped quantity into account when calculating the sample size. You can select the Mandatory Shop Order Control Plan check box for a specific part and site. The specific part connected to a shop order will require a control plan in Active status at the site where the part is used, when trying to release the shop order.

Similarly, if you select the Mandatory Shop Order Create Analysis check box, the specific part connected to a shop order should have a control plan in Active status. It should also have all created analysis results entered and confirmed to complete the shop order.

If you select the Consider Op Scrap check box, the sample size will be calculated from the Shop Order Operation Quantity to Report instead of Shop Order Lot Size when creating an analysis.

You can also use this tab to apply simplified revision handling for a specific part at a specific site. If the Simplified Revision Handling check box is selected it will be possible to edit control plans for the selected part at the selected site, which is in status Active or Inactive without having to create a new control plan revision.
