Usage

Use this dialog box to view the changes that will occur to the data on the receiving side of the integration should the export or import be completed. These changes are determined by comparing the data from both IFS/Project and the external planning tool when the export or import is initiated. This enables you to analyze the consequence of updating the data on the receiving side of the integration.

This dialog box consists of a number of tabs, one tab for each type of data which is exported or imported. Some of the tabs may be disabled if the corresponding data type has not been selected to be exported or imported in the integration configuration. The values in the dialog box and its tabs are read-only.

After the data in this dialog box has been analyzed, the actual export or import can be executed by selecting the OK button. As a result, the updates and changes are applied to the receiving side of the integration. In addition, a history log is taken. It is also possible to cancel the integration after reviewing the consequences of exporting or importing. In this case, no changes are applied and the history log receives the Canceled status.
