Create Project ID Generation Rules

Explanation

Project ID generation rules can be defined based on the company ID, program ID and the project categories. If any numbering rules have not been defined, the system defined project ID sequence will be applied automatically.

Prerequisites

• A company should exist.
• A program should exist.
• Project category 1 and 2 should exist.

System Effects

A new project ID numbering rule is created.

Procedure

1. Open the Project ID Generation Rules window and create a new record.
2. System defined Project ID generation rule can override by marking "%" in Company ID, Program ID, Project Category 1 and Project Category 2 fields. Or user can enter any desired value in columns presented.
3. Save.
