Disconnect Items from Attribute Values

Explanation

Use this activity to disconnect project deliverable items and a attribute values.

Prerequisites

Project deliverable items and attribute values should have been connected.

System Effects

The connection between project deliverable items and attribute values are removed, and no longer shown in navigation model.

Procedure

1. Open the Item Attribute, Project Deliverables Definition or Project Deliverables Navigator window.
2. Right-click on the window header and select the Quick Connect Project Deliverable Items option.
3. In the upper left corner, select an Attribute ID from the list.
4. In the upper left corner, select a Project Deliverable ID from the list.
5. In the middle section, in the Attribute Values table, select an attribute value.
6. In the Connected Items for Selected Attribute Value(s) table, select one or many items.
7. Right-click and then click Disconnect.
8. Verify that the connection is removed, by using this procedure: Filter Items by using Navigation Model

Disconnect items to attribute values in Navigation Model/Base Attribute tab:

1. Open Navigation Model window and search for a model.
2. Open Base Attribute tab.
3. Right-click and then click Quick Connect Project Deliverable Items.
4. In the upper left corner, select a Project Deliverable ID from the list.
5. In the middle section, in the Attribute Values table, select an attribute value.
6. In the Connected Items for Selected Attribute Value(s) table, select one or many items.
7. Right-click and then click Disconnect.
8. Verify that the connection is removed, by using this procedure: Filter Items by using Navigation Model

Disconnect by single-selecting attribute value in the Quick Connect Project Deliverable Items dialog:

1. Open the Item Attribute, Project Deliverables Definition or Project Deliverables Navigator window.
2. Right-click on the window header and then click Quick Connect Project Deliverable Items.
3. Select an Attribute ID from the list.
4. Select a Project Deliverable ID from the list.
5. In the Attribute Values table, select one attribute value.
6. Expand the project deliverable items tree.
7. Select items that are connected to the above attribute value.
8. Click on Disconnect button.
9. Verify that the connection is removed, by using this procedure: Filter Items by using Navigation Model

Delete connections in the Item Attribute dialog:

1. Open the Project Deliverable Navigator window.
2. Search for project deliverable item.
3. Expand the tree and select a project deliverable item.
4. Right-click in the General tab and then click Item Attributes.
5. Right-click on attribute values and then click Delete.
6. Click OK.
7. Verify that the connection is removed, by using this procedure: Filter Items by using Navigation Model
