Copy Project

Explanation

Use this activity to copy projects to revenue recognition forecast from another revenue recognition forecast.

Prerequisites

• Revenue recognition forecast need to be created.
• The status of the forecast should be Preliminary.
• Project/(s) you are going to copy should not exist in the selected forecast.

System Effects

• Forecast lines will be copied from suggested revenue recognition forecast, but until year-period will be copied from immediate next period of the cut off accounting period of the current revenue recognition forecast.
• Invalid projects as per the cut-off accounting period will not be copied.

Procedure

1. Open the Revenue Recognition Forecast window.
2. In the Projects tab, right click and then click Copy Project.
3. In the Copy Project dialog box, select the Forecast Type and the Forecast Version ID of the revenue recognition forecast from which you are going to copy projects.
4. Select the projects you are going to copy in the Project field.
5. Click OK to save the changes.
