Use this window to visualize one or more project structures (subprojects and activities) against the time. It is also possible to do manual changes to the project activities and create a project network or perform a scheduling calculation.

Gantt Header
Use the options to change the behavior and the appearance of the
Gantt window.
Gantt Navigator
Displays project structure info in a tree structure table
format. Right-click and then use ‘Gantt Navigator Column Chooser’ to hide/show columns in this
area.
Gantt Activity List area
Displays a list of activities and its fields that are loaded to Gantt window. It is possible to create activities as well as to modify some of activity details using command bar functions. The ‘Activity List’ check box in the 'Gantt Settings' area is used to show or hide the 'Gantt Activity List' panel.
Gantt Chart area
This is where the projects, subprojects and
activities are visualized against time. Activities are represented by bars,
where the beginning and end of the bar corresponds to the Early Start (ES) and
Early Finish (EF) dates and the length of the bar corresponds to the Total Work
Days of the activity.
Use
'Gantt Settings' panel to decide on what to show and what not to show in Gantt
Chart area. It is also possible to create
or modify activities and dependencies by drawing in this area. Use the command
bar functions to save.
Gantt Right Mouse Button (RMB) Options
RMB options in Gantt window facilitates many
different type of tasks from graphical user interface (GUI) configuration, navigation
etc. Gantt
right mouse button (RMB) options are available in Gantt Header
area, Gantt Navigator
area
and Gantt Chart area. Described below are some of the options from in the Gantt
right mouse button (RMB) Options.
Show Activity Connections…
Use this option to see the time-critical objects connected to the activity selected.The objects that can be seen in the Gantt chart are Purchase Order line, Shop Order, Work Order and DOP Header.
Project Navigator…
This option populates the Project Navigator
window for the project selected.
Activity…
Select this option to navigate to Activity window
for the activity in selection.
Gantt Navigator Column Chooser…

Schedule
Use the Schedule button in the Gantt header to schedule
the project(s) loaded to Gantt window. Gantt applies both the as soon as
possible (ASAP) and just in time (JIT) methods to schedule a project. In the Gantt
Settings two methods of scheduling are available where only one method
is allowed to select.
Scheduling with Start Date: Enter
a start date to schedule activities to begin on the project’s start date and
calculates the project’s finish date based on the last activity to finish. It
first executes the as soon as possible and then the just in time to calculate
early and finish dates respectively.
Scheduling with Finish Date: Use
this method to determine when a project must start so that it finishes on a
specific required date entered. In this option Gantt executes just in time
method first and then the as soon as possible to calculate the dates.
Note that that the Gantt chart is always drawn using early dates irrespective of
the scheduling option used.
Above mentioned scheduling options are applied to
all the projects that are loaded in the Project Gantt window regardless of
dependencies between activities of different project exist or not.
Create Dependency Shortcut
Select two activities by holding down the Ctrl
button in the keyboard that should be linked
together and then click on the Link button which appears. This results in a creation
of Finish-to-Start dependency between the two activities in the order they were selected.
If there is already a Finish-to-Start dependency exist between the two
activities selected, then the Link button will not appear.
Press Ctrl+D key
combination on the selected activities to get the same behavior as above
after you have
selected two activities.
