Project Transactions
Usage
Use this window to view registered time or costs on a report code. When
registrations are made, a new line is created for this registration in
Project Transactions. New registrations can also be made directly
in this window. Project Transactions is a useful tool
for the person(s) who administer the project, since all transactions are
available in one window, and changes can be made later in most fields. The
transaction lines that are already invoiced have a small squared symbol to their
left.
Functions which are available in this window section, which can be reached
by the right mouse button or Operation menu.
- Set Invoiceable: With this command the invoicability
status is set to Invoiceable for all selected items at the same time.
- Set Not Invoiceable: With this command all selected
items will get the status Not Invoiceable.
- Set Delayed Invoicing: This command could be used if
you do not want to invoice the transactions immediately.
- Set Customer: With this command the customer is set to
the default customer specified for the project.
- Create Correction Transactions: With this command you
can create a correction transactions for an already invoiced item. Using
this command means that you get two new transactions, one credit and one
debit transaction. The new debit transaction will get the the status Not
Invoiceable.
- Remove from Invoice: Use this command if you would like
to remove one or several rows from an preliminary invoice.
- Add to Invoice: With this command you are able to add
items to a preliminary invoice.
- Approve for Cost Accounting: Use this command if the
selected items should be submitted for cost accounting.
- Remove Approval for Cost Accounting: Use this command
if the selected items should not be submitted for cost accounting.
- Postings: With this command you look at the voucher for
the selected items.
- Project Invoice: With this command you can look more in
detail on the invoices for the selected rows.
- Transferred Tax Line: Use this command to view the tax lines that
are transferred from the IFS/Travel Expense component.
Note: The value in the Create Cost Accounting
field for project transactions can be updated using the Update Create
Cost Accounting right-click option. This action ensures that any changes
done to the create cost accounting setting at the subproject level or report code level is updated on
the project transaction before the cost accounting vouchers are created for the
transaction and before the project is completed or the project activity is
closed.
