Cancel Maintenance Order

Explanation

This activity is used to cancel a maintenance order.

If this activity is performed on a maintenance order in the New, Initial Scope Definition or Under Preparation status, the entire maintenance order will be canceled. This means that all connected events will be canceled and detailed data, such as, task cards and execution logic structures, removed.

If the maintenance order is in either the Released or Started status, all connected events must be in the Cancelled status before the maintenance order can be canceled. Furthermore, you are required to enter a valid cancellation cause when canceling these maintenance orders. History records will be generated for released/started maintenance orders that are canceled.
