Usage

Use this dialog box to perform project material requirements planning (project MRP), by considering all the activities belonging to a planned netting group (PNG) at a time, when calculating net requirements. This means that any excess supply of a part from one activity can be used to satisfy the demand for that part in other activities included in the PNG. Project MRP can be performed for all the parts required by the activities in a specific PNG or all PNGs, at a single site or at all user-allowed sites. A PNG can be made up of activities from multiple projects or from a single project. When planning material for projects, you can create a PNG for each individual project, so that the PNG only consists of activities from that project. This is known as a project PNG. When project MRP with netting per PNG is performed on a project PNG, it is equivalent to performing project MRP with netting per project for the PNGs associated project. If you click Schedule, it will open a window to create a new schedule. Specify scheduling parameters until it is completed. Once it is done, the scheduled job can be queried from the Scheduled Database Tasks window. When you initiate the process, a project MRP background job is executed. You can view it in the Background Jobs window.
