Use this dialog box to select preventive maintenance (PM) actions that are to generate work orders using the calendar generation routine. Work orders are automatically generated for PM actions that match the selection criteria entered in this dialog box. PM actions with calendar conditions are entered in the PM Action window.
The calendar conditions consist of a start time and an interval. A PM plan is then created with dates for each future generation. As you specify the selection criteria in this dialog box, you need to enter a value in the Week field while entries in the other fields are optional. If the WO Site field is left blank, the generated work order will be associated with the maintenance organization's site.
The Without PM Group/Merge
checkbox will allow the user to generate work orders only for PM Actions that do
not include a PM Group ID/Merge, for the period specified by the user.
The calendar generation will be run as a background job. It is also possible to split the background job into multiple jobs by PM Group ID, WO Site, Maint. Org, Object ID, Interval (Days), or by a combination of these parameters, to minimize the number of PM actions included in a single execution. For a better execution time, a user with administrative rights can enable the parallel execution of the multiple background jobs.
