Headcount Plan/Headcount Plan
Usage
Use this tab to view and prepare datails of the headcount plan selected in
the header. The main tab and the Headcount Plan
sub-tab are the main tools in headcount plan preparation.
The tree structure on the left represents your organization. It shows the
organization units to which you have access. The icons next to the unit names
indicate the status of the headcount plan for a particular organization unit:
- Empty blue square indicates that the headcount plan for the organization
unit has not been completed.
- Blue square with a yellow mark indicates that the headcount plan for the
organization unit has been completed.
- Bue square with a green mark indicates that the headcount plan for the
organization unit has been approved.
- Grey sqare indicates that the organization unit is not valid for the
selected accounting year.
Selecting any organization unit from the organization tree will load its
details into the Headcount Plan sub-tab.
The sub-tab is divided into three areas:
- On the top you can select if the tab will display headcount plan information
for the selected organization unit or all subordinate
units.
- The upper table shows general headcount information for all calendar
moths. Each record represents one month, giving a total of 12 records.
Information include the current headcount in the unit for the given period,
the target headcount planned for he unit in a given period, and if there are
planned or unplanned vacancies already registered to achieve the headcount
plan.
- The lower table shows details of the month selected from the upper
table. While the upper table displays general headcount numbers, the lower
shows headcount plans for specific positions.
Following righ-click actions are available from the Headcount
Plan sub-table header:
- Generate Initial Headcount Plan Data For Organization -
Opens the Generate Initial Headcount Plan Data for Organization
dialog box where you can select what initial headcount plan data will be
generated for the selected organization unit.
- Delete Headcount Plan Data - Opens the
Delete Headcount Plan Data dialog box, which allows you to
delete headcount plan for the selected organization unit (and optionally all
subordinate units).
- Complete - Completes the headcount plan for the
selected organization unit. This prevents any changes from being made to the
unit.
- Complete (With Subordinates) - Completes the headcount
plan for the selected organization unit and all of its subordinate units.
This prevents any changes from being made to the units.
- Back to Preliminary - Brings back the status of the selected unit to
Preliminary, allowing changes to be made
- Back to Preliminary (With Subordinates) - Brings back the status of
the selected unit and its subordinates back to Preliminary,
allowing changes to be made.
- Approve - Approves the headcount plan for the selected
organization unit.
- Approve (With Subordinates) - Approves the headcount
plan for the selected organization unit and all of its subordinate units.
Following right-click actions are available from the lower table:
- Change Headcount Plan Data - Opens the
Change Headcount Plan Data dialog box, which allows you to
change headcount plan for the specific organization organization code and
position. This change can be applied over multiple calendar periods (e.g.,
you can increase the number of accountants by 10 for 6 months).
- Create Vacancy Request - Opens the Create
Vacancy Request dialog box, which allows you to create a
vacancy request based on the information from the selected headcount plan
record.
- Headcount Details - Opens the Organization
and Position Assignments window, where you can see employees
who are assigned to the selected position and organization unit.
- Vacancy Details - Opens the Vacancies
window, where you can see details of the registered vacancies (numbers
visible in the Planned and Unplanned Vacancies columns).
- Headcount Plan Details - Opens the
Headcount Plan Details window, where you can see details of
how headcount of the selected position in the selected organization unit
will develop over the year.
