Use this activity to import saved snapshot files. The template ID used will control the file layout.
An exported file with subsidiary consolidation information must be available in order to perform this activity.
The imported snapshot information will enable you to perform snapshot consolidation even if you have subsidiaries that use databases other than the one used by the parent company.
- Open the Import File Snapshot window.
- Specify the template ID of the file you are going to import. You can use List of Values for this purpose. The description for the selected template ID will be automatically populated in the Description field.
- In the File Path field, enter or browse for the location where the snapshot file to import is located.
