Use this tab window to view the first level of the
structure of the specified project item. The structure can be modified by
using some of the available menu options in the tab window.
If the parent is in
status Realized, the new part must have been created in
Project Product/Items
tab
and set to status Realized before it can be connected to the realized parts
structure. Status changes for the subpart can be done from the menu.
You can transfer a
list of parts to
Project Item window
by selecting the menu option Project Item or to
Engineering Part Revision
window by
selecting the menu option Engineering Part Revision. Other menu options
available to go directly to relevant window or form are Inventory Part,
Inventory Availability Planning, Purchase Part, Product Structure,
Part and Best Fit Search.
Using the menu option View All Parents, you can view all parts where
the current project item is a member in the
structure, and transfer to new instance of the
Project Item
window. All parts or project items that have current
part as a child part will then be available in the combo box.
