Enter Maintenance Triggers

Explanation

This activity is used to enter criteria for calendar, event, and condition based PM action generation.

You can define values for a single generation criteria, i.e., for either a calendar or an event or condition based generation, or a combination of several generation criteria. Only one calendar and event based triggers can be entered per work task template, but there can be multiple condition triggers.

Prerequisites

System Effects

  3. In the Calendar Interval Unit field, select the unit of measure for the time interval.

  3. Enter values for Parameter ID and UoM fields. Use the List of Values to select a suitable value.
  4. Based on the Parameter type enter values for fields Max Value, Min Value, Condition Start Value and Condition Interval (If the parameter type is ‘Accumulated’ Condition Start Value and Condition Interval is mandatory. IF the parameter type is ‘Limit’ either Min Value or Max value should have a value entered.)
  5. Save the information (F12).

Note: In the General tab, for the Valid From and Valid To fields, enter the time range for which the work task template will be valid. These fields can be used to limit the effectiveness of the work task template and the PM action that is generated afterwards.
