Create New Preventive Maintenance Action Revision
Explanation
Use this activity to create a new preventive
maintenance action revision (PM action revision) from an existing revision.
A PM action revision that is in active status can only be updated with
restriction if revision control is enabled and major changes such as entering
new jobs and templates, changing criteria associated with maintenance plan,
changing maintenance organization, etc, cannot be performed. When major changes
are required, a new PM action revision has to be created.
New revisions can be created from PM action revisions in
Active and Obsolete statuses if there is no PM action revision currently in
the
Preliminary status.
Prerequisites
- A PM action revision in Active or Obsolete
status should exist in the system, revision control should
be enabled and a PM action revision in Preliminary
status should not exist.
System Effects
- As a result of this activity, a new PM action revision is
created. The revision will have the Preliminary status.
