Create Mobilization Code

Explanation

Use this activity to create mobilization codes. The mobilization codes will generate mobilization and/or demobilization work orders for sales parts if used in a rental business process. 

Prerequisites

System Effects 

As a result of this activity, mobilization codes are created and can be connected to sales parts and work task templates. When connected the following will happen: 

• For mobilization codes with category Mobilization a work order will be created automatically upon reservation of the sales part on a customer order rental line.
• For mobilization codes with category Demobilization a work order will be created automatically upon return to inventory of the sales part in the rental process.

Procedure

1. Open the Work Order and PM Basic Data window and click the Mobilization Code tab.
2. Create a new record (F5).
3. Enter the mobilization code in the Mobilization Code field.
4. Enter a description in the Description field. 
5. Select if the code should be used for mobilization or demobilization work orders in the Category list field.
6. Save the information (F12).
