Use this window to define the basic data for location type. Location types
are used to associate locations with a type of location.
Location types are also used
to reduce the amount of
information that needs to be registered for each location,
most of the
general information defined on a location can be defined against the location
type.
Location types are not mandatory when creating a location. Where the location
has a location type the location will inherit the information registered against
the location type.
If information has been entered on the location specifically then this
information will take precedence over the information from the location type.
