Use this dialog box to create and schedule a new site MRP job. All parts in the site, based on sources of supply and demand such as shop orders, material transfer requisitions that are created from the project material requirements planning (PMRP) calculations or customer orders, will be calculated. If MRP was performed previously then all the planned supplies and action messages generated in the previous process will be removed first. The results of MRP suggest a process for fulfilling demands using, for example, purchase or shop order requisitions. These results also suggest how to plan orders for optimal manufacturing in view of material availability. MRP plans supply for all parts with dependent demand. You must have entered either the product or recipe structures of the parts. After the structures are entered, you can run MRP for all parts with dependent demand. MRP considers only company-owned inventory parts where the MRP Control check box is set to Used in MRP Calculation. It is possible to run MRP for a selected set of parts by selecting the Selection button in this dialog box.
