Use this window to modify, review and cancel disassembly, repair and assembly shop orders associated with work orders for overhaul parts. These shop orders either are currently - or in the case of shop orders that have been disconnected from the order structure - were once tied to the interim order structures for overhaul part work orders. Disposition shop orders associated with work orders for overhaul parts have a separate client: the Disposition Shop Order window.

MRO shop orders of repair code type Disassembly and Assembly are not user-created; they are created automatically when the interim orders generated by the work scope defined for the overall work order are released. As a result, the part number for a disassembly or assembly shop order will always be a position part. This is because before disassembly has occurred, the 'real' parts are not yet known. MRO shop orders of repair code type Repair are created by the user in Disposition Shop Order by approving a disposition line. The part number in a repair shop order is always a 'real' part. In all cases, however, only 'real' parts will be received from the MRO shop orders.
For shop orders, only part ownership values of Company Owned and Customer Owned are allowed at the header level. Shop order material also allows a part ownership value of Supplier Loaned.
