Use this window to view and enter repair codes for this particular part. It is not possible to create or maintain repair codes in this window.
Repair codes must be associated with inventory parts before they can be used. This association can be done either in this window, where the parts can be associated with individual repair codes, or in the Inventory Part/Manufacturing MRO/Repair Codes tab, where the repair codes can be associated with individual parts.
It is in this tab the possibility exists to define a repair source for the combination repair code and part number, i.e. shall the repair be processed as an Internal- or External repair or both. There is also an option for external processing to define a default supplier and external service type.
